Students:
Your application states your intent to participate in the program. Class sizes are limited in each program, so it does not guarantee that you will be accepted. This activity takes place one weekend per month for five months. Attendance each weekend is generally required to graduate at the end of the academy. Be sure to check the requirements on the curriculum page before applying.
Activity Staff:
We have approximately 60 staff positions, (cadet and seniors) are needed for many positions..This program is a premier EMERGENCY SERVICES training program. (Staff learns as much as students)

Ground Search-and-Rescue School
Courses include Basic GSAR (GTM3), Advanced GSAR (GTM2+1), and Ground Team Leader (GTL).
OTHER Ground Related Mission Quals such as GBD, PSC will be offered to active staff.
Mission Aircrew School
Change to expect in FY
Mission Scanner will NOT be offered.,
Aerial Photographer will be our focus, based on needs of Civil air patrol nationally.
Mission Observer will not be offered FY26
Mission Pilot will be very limited FY26
Aerial Systems (sUAS). all positions will be offered this year.
