ICSS - Mission Management

ICSS / Mission Management Course will not be offered as a "course,"

HOWEVER; we do have a program for those serious about quality training for Mission Staff Ratings:

We WILL offer Mission Management this year as ON-THE-JOB-Training while serving on staff as "trainee" for the cycle.

Since our NESA Southeast program is operated like an actual Mission, except it is far more complex than most training missions.

Members interested in this option have the opportunity to qualify, become proficient, and serve in their chosen Mission Position by learning and serving on our staff for the exercise.

OJT Positions include:

Mission Staff Assistant (MSA), Mission Radio Operator(MRO), Planning Section Chief(PSC), Operations Section Chief (OSC), Logistics Section Chief(LSC), Air Branch (AOBD), Ground Branch(GBD), Public Affairs Officer (PAO), Mission Safety Officer(MSO)

Participants should have the prerequisites for their track completed before November 2023, including the required FEMA ICS Courses.

 

Critical Staffing Needs:
Logistics, Public Affairs, Transportation, General Mission Admin & Support
(Mission staff do not have to be fully qualified in the area they serve in.)
